2018 CSU Bakersfield BSN Nursing program

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello! I applied to CSU Bakersfield and I received an email about the status of my application. I am just getting really nervous. I have applied to about 15-20 school in California and I am worried about getting accepted. I kinda want to see where I and others stand. Good luck to everyone. I hope that others as well as myself get accepted into a nursing school! I understand how impacted it is..

Does anyone know when we will be hearing back?

From looking at the fall 2017 year, I would say mid-June.

Has anyone been accepted? I'm told email acceptance letters will be sent out starting this week and next week and all the way to August of course.

Helllo friends!

I have a question that I'm not sure if anyone will be able to answer. I have tried countless times to contact Bakersfield Nursing and no-one has replied. I got into another school and have to accept the program by tomorrow, BUT bakersfield is my number one and I would want to go there instead if I got in. What would happen if I accept the other school and then back out if I get into Bakersfield? I'm not sure if anyone will know this but I figured it never hurts to ask. Thanks for reading this!! Good luck to everyone!

That's very common with nursing programs, I would recommend you accept it as a backup just in case.

I have also been accepted to a program at my local community college. The due date for payment for some of the items is quickly approaching. I've been trying to hold off just in case I get accepted at Bakersfield, but I think I'm just going to have to go ahead and start paying for things before I lose my place. I don't want to back out after I already started putting a lot of money into a program.

I heard acceptance emails where emailed yesterday to some students.

I spoke briefly to the nursing department and they said only military people have found out, but they won't send out acceptance letters until next week or maybe the following week, but its coming up!!
