2018 CSU Bakersfield BSN Nursing program

Hello! I applied to CSU Bakersfield and I received an email about the status of my application. I am just getting really nervous. I have applied to about 15-20 school in California and I am worried about getting accepted. I kinda want to see where I and others stand. Good luck to everyone. I hope that others as well as myself get accepted into a nursing school! I understand how impacted it is..

Prerequisite GPA: 3.87

Science and Math Prerequisite GPA: 3.81

ATI TEAS Score: 87.3%

Primary Criteria Points: 59.5

Optional Criteria Points: 6

Hi this is my first time applying and here are my stats:

Pre-Req GPA: 3.66

Science & Math GPA: 3.51

TEAS: 87.3%

Primary Points: 59.5

Optional Points: 3

Hope more people will post with acceptance getting nearer.

Just curious as to when you received this email!

My friend has yet to hear anything about the status of her application (just that her eval fee was received.)

I received my email with my status a while ago and I also submitted my application way earlier than her.

Hi jrooney17,

I received this status email yesterday. I would suggest for them to check their junk mail. Most of my CSUB BSN notifications seem to be arriving there.

Have you guys received acceptances to the university? I looked at the other threads for previous years and they didn't get notified of acceptance to the Nursing program until mid June. However, I didn't see anything about university acceptance.

I received my acceptance to the university in February. You should check your myCSUB and see if it needs any other info. As for the nursing program, my friend that started Fall of 2017, got her nursing acceptance Mid-June also.

I haven't received anything. My status says pending on myCSUB and it says everything was recieved. I turned everything in a long time ago and I have no remaining to do's. I should probably give admissions a call. Thank you for the information.

Any update on if they received your application to the school or if you were accepted??

Wish there were more people on this thread. I am getting nervous the closer it gets! Has anyone gotten any other updates yet?

I called the school and was told that I was missing a document (even though myCSUB said all documents were received). Admissions didn't know which documents were missing so they referred me to the student evaluator. She called me back saying that they needed me to send in my updated transcript proving that I completed a public speaking course. I sent a new transcript and now I'm just waiting on an update. You would think that if they needed another transcript that they would notify me through the student portal.

Hi there! I finally received my CSU application status a few days ago. I got the email on the student portal account! Good luck! Not sure when we hear back from the nursing school though

Pre-Req GPA: 3.72

Science: 3.60

TEAS: 82%

Primary: 55

Optional: 6
