There is nothing we can do until Tuesday. Registration begins on the 20th for new students (all classes - not just nursing). That's why it says your registration ends... It will be open to the public. It sounds like the LE office sent the list over to the registrar and they entered about 10-12 people (then left for the long weekend)and the students who were fortunate enough to get entered could register for whatever pharm class they want. Not very cool for the rest of us...

It's interesting because I had no idea we had to go online and still register for our option we picked? I was told they were doing that? I was pretty sure that's what a couple people said. I am talking about the staff that was there on Friday. So I am pretty confused. I haven't been able to register for anything and my 101 section I was given isn't even listed as being available. I was told they were putting our names into these spots and that we didn't have to put them in ourselves just pharm so how could I have gotten bad information from so many people? Next week, I need to find this out. This is really crazy.

The way I understood it was if you enrolled into something other than what you received during the lottery they (nursing dept.) will go in and remove you. We are all responsible for signing up for our classes whether its 101 w/ lab & clinical or 125. They don't sign us up for anything. We have to do it.

If I am wrong... Someone please correct me. It's a lot to take in.

so yes....I do have to go online and register for 101. I just talked to one of my friends who is in their last year. So now that makes sense and I finally did find my classes that matched my numbers but it wouldn't let me register. Thanks for all the support all y'all! LOL

Pretty sure you are right!!! HA...it is a lot but it's all coming together. We just need to get pharm squared away!

someone in orientation mentioned a pharmacology condensed book by Mosby and a fundamentals success book on amazon. Does anyone remember exactly what those were? Anybody who has good advice on helpful and smaller books to carry on drugs, can you post. I saw sunshine Daisies post on her books and would like to hear what anybody else has as well. Thanks for all the advice and support. thanks!

you bring that paper work with you to the clinic. they take it and send results to the school. You do nothing after that

Does anyone who's not insured know a good place to go for the physical and or vaccines/tb test? I was thinking the health department for vaccines, but will they do a physical?

I mentioned the Pharm for Dummies at orientation. I can't remember the other one.

With the drug screen you will get a tiny piece of paper as your receipt, you need that! Tape or staple it to a regular sheet of paper and put it in your packet!

I went to the Vaccine Center on Rainbow. They do physical and titers as well, beside tb test and vaccines.

Yes..forgot to mention that tiny strip they gave me yesterday for my drug test. I have put that in my packet. I forgot to mention that on my post..very important!
