CSN RN Spr 2012 applicants When Are You Turning In Your Packets?

Published

hello all!

i was just wondering, for those of you that are applying to csn's spring 2012 full time or part time rn program, when are you planning on turning in your packet?

i know the deadline isn't until sept 1,2011 but i am excited to get that acceptance letter :yeah:and i also just want the application off of my hands lol

thanks for any feedback happy nursing to all! :nurse:

naalaakkumon I am a full time alternate with 27points. what about you?

i only have 26 pts..thats mean you are in..the cutoff was 27, i heard from someone who got accepted...i bet you are in...nice, i think you dont have to worry..iwanttobanrn how many pts do you have

When I was counting the spots left at the end of orientation there were 33 schedules not picked up. I asked how many total alternates there were and she said 33, so...

I have 27 points but I'm not convinced anyone is "definitely in". I'm very hopeful and scared to be very hopeful - hope that makes sense! I just wish that when we are told something, it would really be the case. The # of alternates, the date we would find out, etc. Anyway, yesterday when I spoke with ------ I pointed out that the first vaccine clinics are next Monday and Tuesday and she said that "no, we wouldn't be able to participate in those" because we won't know in time. Just one more example of being told one thing at orientation and now being told something completely different. This is so frustrating, I will just keep my fingers and toes crossed and say many, many prayers that somehow we all will get in!!! :redpinkhe:yeah::rolleyes:

i agree with you iwantobanrn.... frustrating... they told you different stuffs...coz it would be better if they start calling some alternates so they can participate to those dates....

If there are 33 alternates then perhaps there are 25 full time and that would mean 8 part time. See at orientation she told me that 7 alternates showed up but when Krinkles called she said 9 so I hope it's really just 7 because that would mean most of us will get in. So if they have left over full time or part time spots can you switch. I would switch to full time if that meant I could start in January. I'd just have to quit my job my August I guess.

If you do happen to miss the vaccine clinic dates, you can go to either of the locations listed that green sheet. They charge the same fees listed, which are pretty cheap compared to other places and the cheapest place that I could find to get the hepB.

OK I just enrolled in my courses for Spring and Nurs 125 but I don't see a NURS 125B... Can someone please verify that these are the same class? I'm assuming but being extra paranoid, ya know :-)

lets see... hopefully 33 total alternates..then all alternates might get in...plus the drug test, maybe one or two will get denied?who knows? lets cross our finger and wait next weeeekkkk........should somebody call again to clarify...

Yes it is the same.

I have to register at 3. And was wondering if anybody had any trouble registering for classes. It doesnt say that I am in the ADN program on mycsn. So i am kind of nervous.
