Anticipation is killing me!!! Tomorrow is the day they announce who made it in! Fingers are crossed. I've worked so hard to get to this point. Wishing everyone luck in their endeavors!
Oh, about the insurance...you just jogged my memory...when I did it I remember calling the company (NSO) and asking them which options to choose for a Student RN....they told me and I did it online. About 30 bucks sounds about right, the date you picked is good, and it'll last for a year.
Hey HC~
school is in session! what's your schedule for this semester, I have classes on Tuesday Thursday, clinical on Friday at LMC. I would like to invite you for lunch! you are welcome to bring friends and families if you like...and we can have a party lol...
just joking. you may pick the place, whether in school or somewhere near, your choice preferred. o, let me know when you will be available or your schedule.
oh BTW, I have FWS this semester so I started working in GYM I like it, because there's another nursing student there to keep me company and I could read books, it's great! I also found a new job p/t in OBGYN office, but down side is that I have to work on every weekends
.
I just like my instructors this semester, they are all humerous. Although in classes, students tend to be quiet and reserved...not so active my professor is so funny and she even makes a joke out of member...anyways, I laughed so hard, tears ran out and tummy hurts.
I'm glad you're enjoying it! Which professors do you have? I'm on campus tue and thu, at clinical on Wed. I think you're in the same clinical as a girl I had class with during the summer semester, her name is Giovanna. Anyway, let me know what time ur classes end on Tue and Thu, maybe we can grab some lunch or something before my class.
Wow - I'm so glad I found this thread. I was wondering where the students at CSI were congregating. =D
I just finished 120 last semester and I am currently taking psych. If you thought 110 was hard, 120 will kill you. And I mean it. I came out with a B+ in 110 and barely got a B- in 120. And don't be surprised if you're failing the course throughout most of the semester - I certainly was. I was able to take my grade out of the early 70's until the fourth test and the final (a gift by all accounts) put me at a 79 for a nice B-.
If you guys have any questions just send me a msg. What 120 instructor do you have? *** or the new one? I had *** - she was real good. =D

I know you probably already took your test but even if you didn't that was so long ago - I remember there being a few questions on Maslow's heirarchy.
For the second test - almost the whole test was on physical assessment and fluid and electrolyte balance...I think.
Hello, I am in 110 now. I assume there are no grading curves in the Nursing Dept., right? I had a rough start, didn't well at all on the first lecture exam.
There are no grading curves but they will throw a question out and give people points if a lot of people get the question wrong. Usually it's about one or two questions per test. I think the third test we got no points at all =/

I was wondering if nutritient is a big thing on the second exam, and professor asked us to memorize charts in the YES book:cool: that's a lot memorization, we haven't learned any PE or fluid balance nor electrolyte yet, but we learned basic blood panel, lab test readings, are these gonna be on second exam? Also, the other books, Dudek is it going to be part of the exam 2? I was a little panic on the first exam, I got like 82, not so well done, but then she said there's few ppl didn't even got above 80s, that was kind unexpected. I really want an A in this class, yet, it seems I need to put more work into it. it's really difficult to study the entire book and they just give exams in a total of 150 questions . I mean like...I read so much , but the end of the day found out they only tested a few topics, such a waste of time...at least from my piont of view. Would it be possible that you could give me some more insights regarding which chapters from the book is the BIG emphasis, and some other chapters I could just pay less attention to? or maybe in terms of topics.
