CSI Spring 2011 Hopefuls?

Anticipation is killing me!!! Tomorrow is the day they announce who made it in! Fingers are crossed. I've worked so hard to get to this point. Wishing everyone luck in their endeavors!

Hey! Just been busy with last exams and finals, need I say more? AWESOME job on the NLN! Good for you! I'm sure you'll have no problem getting in. Lunch at the cafe sounds great, hopefully I can be of some help to you when it comes to NRS110. Keep me up to date!

tomorrow is orientation and book purchase day, yeh~ I'm so happy, just returned from Ireland last night and still jet lagging :uhoh3: .

I only registered NRS 110 and MTH 108 and that's 8 credits, can't even get into BIO 160...all the seats are gone...:uhoh3: now I need to wait until semester starts to see if there's any chance of getting in~ sigh

Congrats on getting in!!!! Sooo happy for you! I've been meaning to contact you to ask about it. Yes, I did well, passed 110 with a B...good enough for me! I definitely recommend you do not take 160 with 110 and 108, I took 110 and 108 and got a C in 108 even though it's the easiest class ever because I literally spent zero time on it, I would forget I was even in the class until Wednesday came and I had the class. Trust me, 110 and 108 are more than enough to keep you busy, take 160 in the summer, that's what I'm doing now.

I failed out of csi's program 2 years ago...so depressing.....at the time I was taking gym micro and medical dosage and it was impossible for me to keep up with the readings, and study for micro, so I ended up with a C grade in both classes ! I am so grateful I have another chance but so nervous at the same time.I would not advise anyone to take another class with nursing unless they absolutely have to...Winter and Summer sessions sound fine and will be less stressful in the long run.

I didn't forget about the lunch thing still lol...

will contact you as soon as I fix my schedule. Try to earn some pocket money before class starts and it won't start until 08/24.

Good luck on your second go around, 110 is tough, a C in all those classes is something to be proud of!!! I wish I could have given you the advice about not taking multiple classes ahead of time, but at least you get a second chance now. Good luck with everything and feel free to post any questions you have

I haven't forgotten either! Who do you have for 110 and what clinical site are you at?

If you look on e-sims under building/room it has an abbreviation of the hospital, I'm not 100% sure of which hospital is which, but you can call the nursing office and they will tell you.

Thanks XD, I'm having difficulty with my abbreviations as it just doesn't make sense lol (CLK)

CLK is clove lakes....it's in Staten Island, a nursing home I think. If anybody else needs help with the abbreviations just let me know. :)
