I've been with CCTC for 7 years now and have always felt that I was treated well by them. They are not the highest pay rate, but have many jobs available in almost every area. They have supported me when issues arose with a contract, taking my side and working things out for me to my satisfaction every time. The main issue for most people with them is the free shared housing when you are new with them. I have seen that they have offered the private housing as an extra on some assignments (after 2 yrs. the free private is a benefit) and if interested in them otherwise, it would be worth asking them if this is negotiable - I don't know the answer to that.

I have heard good and bad things about this company. I believe though, that it's all in your recruiter. If you have a bad one, you're screwed. I have 2 friends that went with them for their first 2 assignments and had nothing but problems and after 2 assignments, stopped traveling all together. Ex: Their paychecks were late, housing was bad, recruiter wouldnt return their calls.
Go to http://www.delphiforums.com and do a search about them. That should help.

I went with them and feel it is your recruter. Mine with my first assignment did find ok housing but she was very hard to get in touch with. The second assignment was a mess, I couldnt get paid and she was no where to be found. Others in the company were trying to be helpful but they never did realize the recruter lied from the beginning. I quit traveling. So I would advise people to stay away. they also dont tell you all the little charges they charge. I had a 1 bedroom private apt and had to pay some for it the there was the furniture bill. they didnt tell me i would pay for it to. They said the apt was furnished..Know wonder they are so large. You the traveler get so so pay and you pay for alot of little things.

You shouldn't have to pay for free private housing or furniture. The travelers on Delphi Forums call CCTC and American Mobile (along with a few others) the Evil Empire. Look into Aureus, RN Network, PSR, Across America, and HealthCare Staffing. And remember that you are an ASSET to them...

The only furniture I've ever paid for is when I request something extra - I paid $10/month for the difference between a regular sofa and a sofabed, so that I would have a bed for guests.
