Crocs?

Are Crocs safe to wear to work?

Thanks for your responses in advance!

I love crocs, and wear the "real" ones, but yeah, if you step on something wet you will slip-but they are the best for your feet and back support.

I too love Crocs. They're so ugly, but they are the only thing that works for my body and feet consistently.

I tried New Balance - they were comfortable for a few hours, then gave me blisters.

Tried Nursemates - Way too stiff for me, I rolled my ankle a couple of times AND the stiffness tore my feet up.

Tried Danskos - Kept rolling my ankle, and they just weren't very COMFORTABLE for me. They were bearable if not for the ankle thing, but. So expensive to not feel good to me.

I tried Klogs - They are pretty comfortable and I do still wear them sometimes, but the heel is a little higher than I'd like, I have nearly rolled my ankle once or twice. However, compared to Crocs they are heavy. I can wear them for comfort but the weight is an issue.

Crocs just work well for me. They cushion my steps, they're light enough that they don't rub or give me blisters, and they support the shape of my foot well. I am overweight and good cushioning is CRUCIAL for my comfort. I like the Specialists - no ugly holes on the top, vents for a little airflow, and I got them in white. I also have a pair of the Mammoths in black for really cold nights.
