Endocrine questions?
I heard if you didn't get any endocrine system questions (pituitary, thyroid, cushing's, addison's, myxedma, graves) then you didn't pass because these questions are considered high-end difficult questions. Is this true? I know this question might sound silly. I personally don't think it's true, but a tiny part of me is curious - to all who passed, is this true?

Romance?
I was watching a movie yesterday where the nurse falls in love with this patient that continually asks her out. (Yes, I'm very much aware that it's just a movie and full of fiction. Haha.) But it got me wondering. Thanks for your replies!

Romance?
This is just a random thought. I thought this would be the best place to get some feedback. Has there ever been a case where a nurse falls in love with the patient she cares for? And if so, is this wrong or against any kind of policy? Sorry for the randomness of the question. Thanks for your replies in advance!

True or False?
Is it true or false that there is an age maximum to become a nurse? If so, what is it? Sorry if my question is very trivial, but thank you for your responses in advance!

NCLEX Takers Support Thread
O God, It seems as though our lives Are one test after another, Weighing us in somebody's balance. Save us from taking the coming tests Too seriously or too lightly, But grant that we may reflect The best of the work we've done And the best of the teaching we've received. Amen. This was given to me by my church. I thought I would share. Good luck to everyone. Save this prayer and pass it on to whoever may need it. :saint:

Saying Hello To A Previous Patient
Hi Natingale! Well, I was in my NURSING ISSUES class when the subject came up. My teacher said there might be some controversy over this subject. Some nurses think it is wrong and against patient privacy to tell other nurses whether you took care of them in the past or not. Some nurses frown upon saying hi to previous patients unless they acknowledge you first. I guess it all depends on the situation. Personally, I agree with all the above responses. I definitely think saying hello to a previous patient is beneficial for everyone. Thanks again!

From your experience, does working in ICU before working in the ED make you a better ED nurse? Thanks for your responses in advance.

Saying Hello To A Previous Patient
Scenario: You had Mr. A for a patient on Tuesday. He was discharged. Later that week you go back to work and you see that Mr. A is admitted again to your unit. However, Mr. A is not assigned to you, but assigned to another nurse on the unit. Is it wrong to drop in and say hello to this patient? Do you only say hello if the patient says hello first? Is it wrong to tell the nurse you had this patient a few days ago? Just some thoughts. Thank you for any of your responses!
