CRNE Prep Group in Toronto or Ottawa - October 2011

Hey everyone, I was wondering if there are any people who want to start a CRNE (Canadian Registered Nurses Exam) Prep group or study group, whatever you may call it.

I just graduated and am scheduled to write in October. The reason why I wrote Toronto or Ottawa, is that I presently work and live in Toronto, having just graduated from Ryerson. I make it back home to Ottawa on the weekends, so am planning on hardcore studying in both cities!!!!!!

If we make a group, we can compile CRNE questions and go over material together. Any ideas would be very helpful. I heard the test is really hard now, and I personally know some people who have failed. Let me know, we can start as soon as July!

didn't you read the posts about the toronto school of health being charged for offering illegal programs?

thanks for the info regarding T.S.O.H., but it really doesn't matter to me because it was past and i won't look into negativity in them.We should look into what they have to offer to us for CRNE instead of what mistakes they have already done. I just need to pass the crne and i heard from lots of people that T.S.O.H. offers very good prep course and that's all matters to me. I'm not looking for the things that they have done in the past, i'm looking for learning what i need to learn for the crne. I'm not going there for getting a degree or something i'm going there to increase my knowledge for the CRNE. i hope you understand why i wanted to go there. Thanks!

All I know is that they got charged for operating as an illegal school and offering illegal programs. You can take it, but I can't trust a school that has been already charged as an illegal school. Have you seen how much they charge? I know at least 3 people who said that the course is being taught by some guy who isn't even a nurse.

No offense, but you have 3 posts and all of them your trying to get people to go to the Toronto School of Health. I think you probably work there. Advertising is not allowed in this forum. Please stop trying to advertise your school over and over again in this CRNE group or I will report you to the administrator.

Otherwise your welcome to post questions here that will help out CRNE studying. We get it, you like the school even though they were charged for advertising and offering illegal programs. Stop plugging it okay

please think before you type any negative comments!!! as a future nurse, you should think how your negative comments could hurt others feelings. we are here to help and support each other and pass the crne and not to argue.

yes, all my postings are about wanting to join a group with people who wanted to form a group and take prep course in there (t.s.o.h). i was replying to people who planned to form a group and get a discount. there is no statement made by me in here about advertising that school. it was you who wanting to join the group and take a prep course. aren’t you? so that means you are advertising too? (how do u feel with this comment now?)

so please kindly think before you type anything. respect others feelings especially at this emotional moment since we all are preparing to pass the crne, which is our life. we all have worked so hard for 4 years or more to graduate and now it is our final stage to end our journey, which is to pass the crne. let us focus on crne by supporting and helping each other!

we are very thankful that allnurses.com website is here for us to bring us together in this forum, express our feelings, support, and encourage each other. without allnurses.com website, it wouldn’t be possible for us to express and learn from each other about crne as well as our struggle to pass the crne.

Hi MUD, if we get organized we can form a study group. In the meantime, I suggest that we start posting difficult questions in this forum, and we can all benefit from in our studying.

Hey how did you find out you failed by 6 points on your exam, sorry I saw your other post. I'm pretty sure that they don't give you that information, all it says is that you failed. How did you find that information out? Thanks.

apparently if you're boderline, they tell you the results. that what i read in one of the other forums.

i'm going to try to get some questions going because i totally need to start studying, and i'll post the difficult questions here. we have nilch so far :D

I took the prep classes in april 2011 and passed the exam. I did not study nor work as a nurse in canada. Toronto school of health may be illegal but they are knowledgeable and provide the information needed to prepare for the exam. The prep classes are quite intense and the Dr. is a good teacher. I will advise anyone who needs prep classes to go for it.

Hei guys! I suggest you read the thread: CRNE June 2011. The latest post on that thread are about tips and advices for the CRNE and I believe that they are very helpful! :yeah:

Those who wants to take classes at Toronto School of Health, then go ahead. Those you arent, then dont. Let us not waste our time with those things. Let us concentrate on what is really important.

Those of you guys who wants to meet at any library, lets do it! Share books, lets do it! I actually have a compilation of multiple choice questions from my RN friends in TO, the thing with it is that, it doesnt have any rationales :( Whoever is interested, I can share them :) But must promise to take good care of them coz I have to return them back to the owner after.

Only 11 weeks, 3 days left! So guys let the hard work begin.... xxx
