A colleague told me today at work that her three friends in Calgary got theirs a couple of days ago but none of them passed. One of them scored 112 and the passing grade is 114.

Someone told me today that her three friends who wrote in Calgary received their results a few days ago, but none of them passed. One scored 112, 2 short of the passing grade (114). The Feb 2 exam was the third attempt for one of them, while it was the second for the other two. It appears in Alberta that those who fail usually receive theirs earlier (usually by a week) than those who passed.

That's exactly how I feel. I haven't been sleeping this entire week and am obsessed with checking the mail:( I am sick of wating and not knowing if I should be studying or celebrating and exteremely scared.

I do not think this is true. When i failed the first time i received my results same time as some of my colleagues who were successful as well as some who were not. I actually received it a bit eariler than i expected after I had some of my colleagues passing and failing.

The thing is we will eventually receive the results, it's the waiting and fear of the unknown that have us on our P's and Q's.

I'm from calgary I called CARNA today and they said that results will be mailed out sometime this week.. Couple more days of waiting left

Ok, I am kind of confused here. People are reporting that they have received their marks (failed) already in Calgary but then CARNA is saying they haven't been mailed them out yet. Seems kind of odd. I actually just called and they said that they just received the marks today. :confused: I am so confused with this process.

yes, carna is right. the ones that had been mailed this week will reach their destinations by monday next week. some in calgary already received theirs, and most (if not all) of them did not succeed. the reason why those who failed are mailed first is to give them time to beat the deadline for the next exam. if you think about it, it makes sense. the colleagues that told me of her friends in calgary that failed the feb 2 exam was telling the truth because she even got the failing grade right (114) quoting her friends. i can also attest to the fact that those who fail receive results earlier going by personal experience. in my first attempt, i received my result on the first monday in july (precisely, july 5 2010). those who passed got theirs on the second monday in july (that is on the 12th). the same was the case on my second attempt. my result reached me on november 8 (again first monday after the october 2010 exam), while my colleagues who passed received theirs on the 15th november 2010, which was the second monday after the exam. going by this, most of us in alberta will receive our results next monday (march 13th).
