Please introduce me some books for the CRNE, which can write the knowledges clear, and not have many practice in it.Because I have no foundation. So I want to study the knowledges first and then to do some practice.I have bought books about the CRNE that is the Study Guide Medical Surgical Nursing in Cananda. But in this book ,there is all of practice.I even can not understand the point which want to me answer. So please help me!I really need some books contain the knowledges to study.
Oh,I am sorry about that.
I have found some books which you adviced me .I have written their names as fallow.Do you think they are suitable?
1Foundations of Maternal-Newborn Nursing (Textbook Binding)
2.Foundations of Maternal-Newborn Nursing (Textbook Binding)
3Pediatric Nursing: An Introductory Text (Paperback)
4.Wong's Essentials of Pediatric Nursing- Text Only
5.Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing- Text Only
your understanding is correct: crne review book does not include basic nursing for medical surgical, pediatric, maternal child, psychiatric or community health professional nursing skills
"support worker" texbook = nursing assitant / nurses aide / personal care assistant level care not professional nurse.
janfrn is recomending you study material already presented in your chinese textbooks rather than purchase textbooks used in canadian programs as material should be similar.
above list is good selection of titles --should the first one be 1foundations of medical surgical nursing ? since maternal child listed twice?
instead of purchasing purchasing more textbooks, maybe study guides might be more helpful aad less expersive option.
example:
study guide for wong's essentials of pediatric nursing, 8th edition
the study guide includes a variety of questions and exercises which cover a review of content and clinical application of key concepts in the text.
wong's is a great pediatric textbook book ---i used it in clinicals myself!
best wishes in preparing for and passing the canadian nursing exam. be aware proficiency in english is highly stressed. participating in our website is great practice foundation for writing proficiency too.
Thank you very much.I have to say again that you are so kind-hearted.I can not say anything. I have not communicated with any Canadians before you.But I have an excellent impression about the Candian people because of you.
I shall buy the books which you suggested me.And I should study them as quickly as possible.Because I will go to work in Augest.
Can you give me your e-mail address?I want to make a friend with you.I really love you.By the way, what do you think of my Enlish level by my writting?Do you think it is poor? You can tell me the truth directly. I can afford it.
Hi,I found my book list, and I found that it did not include the medcine-surgery textbook and the maternal-child health textbook. So I searched them in the web site. And I found the books named Clinical Surgery, 2nd Edition - With STUDENT CONSULT Online Access by Michael M. Henry, MB, FRCS and Jeremy N. Thompson, MA, MB, MChir, FRCS. Does this book suit the medicine-surgery text? And does the Foundations of Maternal-Newborn Nursing suit both the maternal-child health textbook and pediatric nursing textbook?

That's exactly what I'm telling you. And I've explained that twice already. The knowledge base required to be a professional registered nurse in Canada cannot be condensed into a single book. The book would have to be the size of a suitcase. As I've explained already, it's assumed that when one graduates from nursing school one has obtained the knowledge to be a professional registered nurse; the CRNE tests one's knowledge base and one's ability to apply what one has learned to real life.
