CRNA University of Miami starting 2021

Hey everyone, I have started a thread for the 2021 CRNA cohort at the University of Miami. I could not seem to find one for this application cycle.

I have just applied and am hoping I get an interview.

Specializes in ICU.

This is weird because when I talked to them, they told me before the end of this month.. I guess we will just have to wait... This stuff is making me more anxious.

I was reading a thread in University of Miami FNP 2021, few candidates also had virtual interviews this week and one applicant for next week. Someone also said their decision will be between 4-6 weeks. I am sure that the delay is due to the pandemic. I was just happy to get an interview this week. I really thought that the interviews were done before I received the call.

Yes, the pandemic is definitely placing a hold on things. Guess the wait will continue.

As long as there is no admission, waitlist, or rejection letters that have been sent out yet, there is still hope. It’s not over until it’s done.

May is reasonable with everything going on. June is a bit strung out in my personal opinion. Massive Universities interview thousands of incoming freshmen and get decisions out in 4-6 months. The Anesthesia Program interviews 100 people which is a fraction of that and is on par to taking almost as long. I understand where they're coming from, just communication has proven to be vague thus far.

Hello Everyone,

I too interviewed 2/26 and have not heard anything besides that things are delayed, and still do not have a time frame as to letting us know what the decisions are. The anxiety is real HAHA

I heard from a current student that they are hoping to transition back to campus late June so I hope we hear sometime in May!
