Hey guys, for those who have accepted and are planning to attend UB, can we start getting acquainted, bouncing ideas, etc? If we're gonna be classmates for the next 28 months then we might as well getting friendly :-)
My name is Ben. Been an RN 3.5 years. Presently work in CVICU. I'll be moving from California by myself, and single.
Where are you guys moving from?
Does anyone local have any info on where to possibly live, nice areas, etc?
Has anyone done the FAFSA yet?
Any other things to consider - Should I get snow tires for my car, etc?
Hey guyz,
hope all is well.
Slynn7, I did receive my letter but they haven't taken out the deposit yet. I called and said I didn't have my UB ID yet. But i'll call them back in a couple of weeks if they haven't taken the deposit. I don't have any graduate classes, so sorry, but I can't be of help.
Student79,
I have been searching craigslist for places to stay near campus. I hope to be a walking distance from school, so I am not troubled during winter times...and if you get a roommate it's even cheaper between $250-500. Looking at this current winter in buffalo, I may also get chains for my car. Hit me up when you come to cali.
My email is [email protected]. I live in Buffalo and would be more than happy to help anyone out with getting familiar with Buffalo when you get her or from afar if I'm able to be of assistance. If your cars are front wheel drive you'll be ok in the winter. If they are rear wheel......lets just say 360's!!!
Student79. (or anyone else who has completed the process) is there anyway i can contact you about the interview questions/process. I am thininking about applying to the 2012 class. I will be finishing my bsn the summer of '12. So I was going to apply this summer because im pretty sure you can apply early before the completion of the bsn. my e-mail is [email protected]. thank you.
I have been in critical care since 2007.
