I am a senior in a BSN program. I have a previous degree where I graduated with a GPA of 2.9. Since starting the BSN program and taking core classes I did not have with my other degree I have earned a 3.86 GPA. I was wondering if i will be competitive for the CRNA programs. I know I need to do well on the GRE and get the required experience in ICU. I am an anesthesia assistant now and also in an extern program for the summer in a CVICU unit. I will continue to work in the same CVICU after graduation. Thanks Rowdy

I want the same career goal....and you are ahead of me......But i talked to some people and it is competitive. You can go to http://www.aana.com for a list of schools. And there is a section for this topic too.
If it helps you have an edge over me....But i think if you get some good letters of Rec, ace your interview, and learned enough you should be fine.
