Hello All!
Is anyone applying to the Summer 2024 LEAP program and has insight in the program and interview process? Applications are due in almost a month and from what I read the interviews come quickly and are intense. Any tips appreciated!

I had my interview as well. I was so nervous and honestly don't think I did my best. For some reason my anxiety took over unfortunately. I guess it was being asked all the questions by all directors of all the programs. I did think I prepared for it with mock interviews etc prior but being in the interview was a completely different ball game. They asked a mixture of clinical and emotional intelligence questions.

I am pretty sure you did well. Don't be so hard on yourself. You got this.

I feel like I was nervous during my interview. Not sure if I did poorly or decently. But I am nevertheless grateful for the experience. I gave it to God so just hoping for good news. I will pray for you aswell.
the questions were about 50/50 clinical and emotional intelligence.
Yes agreed, so thankful for the opportunity. I will learn from this and learn how to move forward with other interviews. I know we find out decisions by 3/31. I'm so eager to know haha.

You'll find out sooner like by Feb 15 is what we were told by Kasey. They want it sent out before ADCE conference which happens around that time.

I recently completed my studies at LEAP in April of 2023, where I had the privilege of being part of Case Western's second cohort. Currently, I am embarking on my first semester of the DNAP program. I must emphasize that this program is truly exceptional and provides an outstanding education. The wealth of knowledge I have gained and the thorough preparation I received from this program have given me a significant advantage in the classroom compared to many of my peers. As a result, I feel less stressed and anxious about performing at the graduate level.
Moreover, this program has greatly alleviated any feelings of Imposter Syndrome, empowering me to confidently face any challenges that come my way over the next 3 years. While the program may not focus extensively on the hands-on clinical aspects required for the profession, it certainly equips students with the necessary foundations. It is worth noting that choosing this path does involve a longer and more expensive journey to become a CRNA. However, with the knowledge and experience I have acquired, I can genuinely say that I wouldn't change a thing.
In addition to the exceptional education, the bond formed with my 21 classmates in the cohort is invaluable. We have become close friends and will continue to support and inspire each other throughout our individual journeys in school and as professionals. I must express my gratitude to Dr. Sonya Moore, an extraordinary, dedicated, and visionary leader who has created this life-changing opportunity for me and my family. Her impact will forever alter the trajectory of our lives.

Thank you for the motivation. I just interviewed so I hope me and the rest that interview get the same experience you had. Thank you and good luck in your journey to becoming a CRNA.
Has anyone heard any good news from the interview about being accepted.

Not yet, still waiting. It sounds like it may be this week or next week based on what someone said earlier. Fingers crossed.
Anyone with news yet ?
