CRNA LEAP Certificate Pathway Summer 2024

Published

Hello All!

Is anyone applying to the Summer 2024 LEAP program and has insight in the program and interview process? Applications are due in almost a month and from what I read the interviews come quickly and are intense. Any tips appreciated!

Oh OK awesome. Hope I see an email from her soon. Thank you

Anyone know if all the acceptance emails have been sent out? I still haven't received anything.

I created a FB group it's called Case Western Leap 2024 cohort just to keep us connected. Here's the link:

Perfect great idea

@good face RN @DBtHe_CCRN19 @adhd asian I was wondering if any of you could provide insight on GRE exam. Are we required to take it prior to starting the program? or do we take it at some point prior to completing it?

Although I think that almost all of the schools except for one which is UAB that requires it. Having said that they still made all of us take it.  I would take it before you start LEAP because once you start LEAP You will have no time to study for it. You don't need to score particularly well, they just want to see you take it.

anyone know if the timing for when leap determines your school changed. From what I understood it would of been in Spring 2025 that you would submit your top 3 and then leap would determine the best fit.

but the admission letter states that "the determination of which program you will attend will be made by the coalition program directors in February 2024"

You are not required to take the GRE or the CCRN before starting the program. We were asked to submit completion of these before Dec 15th; there was a little wiggle room on that date for some. However, if you have the time to do it now before you start, it would be a great advantage for you during the program to not have something else to worry about. (Most schools do not require GRE scores, and those that still do seem to just need proof that you took it. The CCRN is required.)

There might have been a typo. From what we were told and experienced, many of the directors take the time during the classes where they are lecturing to get to know you. They also looked at out transcripts, papers, scores, etc again before making their final decisions for our cohort regarding who would go where. I think for most of our class, we were nervous and aware the whole first two terms of the selection and match process, but we all really focused on the end goal, which is getting into school, any school, and supporting our peers as we went through it.
