Hello everyone! Recently applied to FIU's program, and just wanted to know if anyone out there (there has to be) has also sent in there application. Want to get a feel for my possible future Classmates and general information.

I am trying to interview on the 9th at 1pm. I sent back the request about 10 minutes after she emailed and I still haven't received any confirmation.

Hey guys!

I received my email for the interview but as others have said it is not confirmed yet. I suspect they will confirm tomorrow.

I plan on retaking my GRE before my interview since I completely blanked out on the essay an ran out of time resulting in a score that I believe doesn't

reflect my writing skills. Hopefully, I can explain the reason for that score and show prove of improvement. I was wondering if anyone knew about the interview itself. I'm sure there will be both clinical and get to know you types of questions?

Little about myself. 2 years SICU charge RN, CRRN, 3.46 GPA, GRE 299 3.0 AW (hoping to improve), I am a part of the practice council in my hospital, and educate/preceptor new RNs in the ICU. Good luck to everyone!

Last year they sent emails over a few days. I received mine a day after they started sending them out. I know of one girl who got called 1 day before the last interview date.

I definitely need to read this. I was getting worried. The lady I spoke to on Tuesday said I would get an invite email by Friday so I am hoping it comes today.

Congratulations to those who have received an invitation to interview! Is there any rhyme or reason as to the order that invites are being sent? Date of application submission? Last names? The wait is something awful!

Got the confirmation for my interview date today. I have a friend who got accepted into all 3 programs in S. Florida last year and there were definitely clinical questions in FIU's interview.

I did mine last week too. Feel like I totally screwed up. But they said we won't hear anything until after the last interviews on the 19th. Keep the nerve-racking sleepless nights until then!!

I did my interview in the first available slot. Definitely a little intense! More clinical than personal it seems. Wishing everyone the best of luck! Post when ya'll get accepted! =)
