Hi guys!!
I am a critical care nurse and have been working as an RN for 1.5years. I am now applying for CRNA school at Univ of Miami and FIU for Aug 2012 and Barry for January 2013 in Miami, FL. I am wondering if my application appears strong enough for an interview.
What else can I do that would make me more appealing as a candidate and what are the weak points?
BSN, GPA 3.5
GRE: Verbal 570, Quantitative 610, total 1180
Certifications: CNA, RN, ACLS, PALS, and soon CCRN
3 superb recommendations: 1 from a CRNA, 1 from clinical supervisor at work, and 1 from a professor in undergraduate studies
By the time I apply and hopefully get accepted, I will have been working in critical care for almost 2.5 years.
Do you think my profile thus far will at least land me an interview? Also, how can I prepare for the interview? How was your interview experience? Anyone else applying for the same school for the same time period?
Any and all input is appreciated, thank you!

Does your CNA stand for Certified Nurse Assistant? If it does I would leave that one out.

You stats look good. Make sure you get your CCRN.

I'm in Barry with similar stats, less experience and no CCRN, however have other perks that helped. You should be fine at least for an interview.
