critical question for a possible overdose

Published

my client (young adult) was brought in for a possible ovedose after taking unknown number of panadol osteo tabs and alcohol. However,he said that he took them for a headache that wont go away.

# PMH - he has type 1 diabetes but is having difficulty accepting the diagnosis and he has not been taking his insulin. He has no family, has had a r/ship problems, has been working long hrs and his failing at school.

Mo has ordered serum level to be taken within 4-8hrs,his on IV Normal Saline and psychiatric team has been involved.

Am ment to come up with critical questions which I have. I just want to know whether am on the e right track.

.when did his headaches start and for how long has he been using the panadol osteos?

.what are the potential risks if an overdose has occured?

.what assessments can be done?

.what kind of support can be provided for him?

.did he intentionally overdose or was it accidental?

.how soon should the treatment be commenced?if not within given time frame what would happen?

You are meant to come up with questions of whom? To whom? What critical questions? Of the patient?
Mo has ordered serum level to be taken
who is Mo?

OP, if you could take a look at your post and fix what are probably typographical errors, it would be helpful. I can't really figure out what question you're asking, or what you've thought about up to this point.
