I work at UAB, and all of our critical care units hire new grads. We have 2 right now that grad in Dec and just passed their boards 2 wks ago. SICU also has many new grads. At least 4 that grad last May that started right after grad, and they have some right now.

Cardio Trans, I personally think the critical care staff at UAB were very wonderful, caring nurses and staff. My dad was there 3 weeks prior to his death Oct 5, 2005.

To the OP, most if not all the hospitals hire new grads in their critical care units. I know for sure Brookwood, UAB West, and Cooper Green do.
