Creighton University Phoenix ABSN

Hi! I have been accepted into the Creighton University Accelerated BSN program at the Phoenix location for Spring '18 start date. I didn't see another thread out there for it. I was just wondering if anyone else out there has been accepted, applied or is planning to apply there.

I will be moving from California, so if there is any information on where to live in Phoenix, preferably near the school, that would be very helpful.

I originally was supposed to apply for the January 2018 cohort in Phoenix, I did the entire application but then they used this website to see all of the colleges I went to and found that there was still one more transcript that I hadn't sent so now I had to apply for the Fall 2018 cohort. Make sure you send all transcripts because they will find it.

I just turned in all of my application materials a little over a week ago and they said the next meeting to determine acceptance will be on Feb. 23rd and then we will be emailed whether we got in or not the following week. My advisor said both the Phoenix and Omaha campuses will still have openings this month so get your applications in ASAP. The process was easy - just needed letters of recommendation, transcripts, and personal statement. My GPA definitely isn't competitive (3.2 GPA) compared to all of the 3.7 and 4.0 students who are applying so I wouldn't be surprised if I got denied. However, my last two years of college I took 20-27 units each semester so I'm hoping that makes a difference.

Hey all, Im started the ABSN program Phoenix campus this Spring. I'll be moving from Cali, and looking for a roommate if anyone would like to connect ( I'm 31 years old female). I was told the Phoenix campus Facebook won't be open until a month or 2 before start date.

Do you mean you're starting this Fall? Also, when did you get your acceptance?

oops! my bad, yes I meant for the fall. I believe I was admitted as part of the early admission decision, about a week or two after submitting My NursingCAS.

Hi All, Just got my acceptance letter notification in an email today for Fall 2018! Does anyone know if they send a copy of the letter in the mail? I need to provide it for a scholarship I am applying for.

I was wondering if there are any nursing students in the January 2018 cohort that could give me a better idea of what the program is like? Pros and cons and just general tips? I was accepted to start in the fall and just don't know that much about how the program is run!

I heard back from Creighton about 3 weeks after all of the recommendations and transcripts were properly submitted.

Hi all! I'm currently applying to the Creighton Program at Phoenix Campus for Spring 2019. I have a 3.5 GPA and was wondering what everyone else's GPA was and how long it took to hear something back? Also, I'm assuming that I should get my application in as soon as possible. Should I call once I submit? thank you!
