Published

I am looking for students who will be graduating this summer and writing in Sept, 2011.

I live north of Toronto, but can participate online in a group or would like to join study groups who are also preparing to write in Sept.

The passing score is a 64. Your wrong

I heard that the passing score is 143 out of total exam questions (I can't recall if there was 252 quetions or 258). I just hope that I did good enough to pass!!!

Is this 64% 0r 64/256?

64% .. Its not even out of 256 its out of 252

WELL SO much for 76GPA considering only needed 64% to pass.... looks like I am rewriting, I am the first to post that I failed... yay me

Congrats to all of you though the waiting is finally over:twocents:

what was the amount of questions you needed to get right to pass, around 160 ?

Specializes in NICU, PICU, PCVICU and peds oncology.

64% of 252 is 161. Basic math.

exactly, so i'd love to know where the 143 came from

a friend of mine in TO unfortunately did not make it. What she said was, she answered 131 questions right but needed 143...remember some of the questions doesn't count.

i know someone who didn't pass. the score was 141/143... so definitely the passing score must be higher or equal than 143 but the percentage depends upon the total of the exam. cpnre might have experimental questions which i dont know. so compute this way 143/total of questions x 100...

Oh Man! That is just so depressing, just being short of 2 points to pass. :crying2:

Did your friend/acquaintance consider asking for a recount?

so, tomorrow's another day for us who didn't receive the results. hopefully we have something...

to those who didn't pass the exam, they will include an assessment that contains the percentage of each competencies ankd how many deficits you had for you to be able to pass the exam. the recent rpn exam set 143 as the passing acore. this is according to a friend.

i don't know. i haven't asked him but i assume he won't appeal for it. they say that if your score is below the borderline. for instance, 142/143, they will definitely do manual scoring.

best of luck for you... tomorrow will be one of the best days of your life
