CPNRE Sept 14, 2011

Published

I am looking for students who will be graduating this summer and writing in Sept, 2011.

I live north of Toronto, but can participate online in a group or would like to join study groups who are also preparing to write in Sept.

Got mine this morning at 830am....I PASSED!!!!

The story of how I got my PASS!! My husband called me and told me that I had "a big white envelop" in the mail. I get in my car, still in my pj's, dry heaving the whole way there. (knowing that I failed, b/c of the big envelop) I get there, he hands it to me, gives me a dirty look, I walk past him and everyone else there and head outside. My husband follows after me, and tells me to open it. I am balling at this time, I tell him I can't open it, and I throw it on the ground. He picks it up, and opens it. I look up and see him taking a suduko out of the cno envelop, I'm like, what the hell!! He takes the letter out and reads, "we are pleased to announced that you have successfully completed", and I start balling even harder. That ********, opened the little white envelop, put it in a big envelop, cut the CNO info off of the original envelop and glued it on the new "big" envelop. Had someone else write my name on the fromt of the envelop so I would not recgonize his hand writting. I was so so ******. But I look up and see him crying too. It meant so much. It was a mean joke, but I must say, it was a great one.

no mail yet! huhu

WELL SO much for 76GPA considering only needed 64% to pass.... looks like I am rewriting, I am the first to post that I failed... yay me

Congrats to all of you though the waiting is finally over:twocents:

Nothing in mail in Vic BC, has anyone in BC received theirs?

NRSIIIIZ- in response to your post. It doesn't discredit your ability and future success of obtaining your goal. best of luck!

Thanks, same goes to you. Not passing the exam is not a measure of how good a nurse you are. I know nothing will take the sting out of it right now but chin up you will get it next time.

so is it really in a small envelope if you passed or what? i kept on seeing people saying that its in a "small" envelope and not a big one.. waiting is brutal for sure but what aggravates it is the type of envelope that we should be getting. bec now, if by monday i see a big envelope, then it means i failed it. aarrgghh..

Yes, a small envelop is a pass. A large one is a fail b/c it also holds info about what you need to improve on, and about rewritting....Good luck, and congrats to all who passed, and to those who were not successful this time, chin up, you will get it next time!!

what do u mean by a small envelope? like a letter size envelop? or bigger than that? oh boy!! this is more intense that i thought it would be..

Yes a letter sized envelop

64% to pass, HUH!!! Congrats to those of you who have passed and good luck to those of you who have not recieved your letters. I have read that if you fail the exam you only have until Oct 31st (10 days from today, with 4 of those days being weekends) to have the fees sent to the college if you want to write in January. I have not recieved my pass or fail letter in Ottawa yet but am concerned that I will not get my money there on time and willl be forced to wait until May if I have to rewrite. Sounda a little wrong to me. Oh well I guess I'll just have to wait patiently.
