Hi November CPRNE takers, starting this thread for updates regarding the results. ☺️
I just want to say something:
This is my second attempt at the exam. It was the legal, ethical, professional section that failed me in Sept 2020. After critically analysing this exam at nauseam, I do believe that it all comes down to Legal, Ethical, Professional and Collaborative nursing; the clinical nursing section is very hard to improve upon ( you are going to get mid 60's regardless of how hard you study)... The actual clinical nursing section is very, very hard to improve month over month. That being said, studying the CNO modules and the Legal, Ethical and Professional, and Collarborative Nursing chapter in the study guide was vital in passing this exam. Seriously. I spent hours studying maternity, which was the weakness of my first exam.. but the questions asked in Nov 2020 weren't in the book that I studied... I got them all wrong. Study the CNO modules!!
One last thing:
For all those that failed. I want you to know that you are brilliant. This exam does not define you. This exam is more of a personality quiz than anything else. As a male, I've always felt that the course was FUBU (for us, by us) for middle class, white , woman.. There was only one math question on the exam in Nov and 0 in Sept. Why? I'm brilliant in math.... makes me wonder. Keep in mind, there is politics in everything you do and if you fail something in any aspect of life, the politics has a lot to do with that.
Also:
I am a 37 year old male from a lower income background that has been working low skilled labour my entire life.. I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE and frankly, YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO LIKE ME!! I CAME OUTTA NOWHERE AND I MADE IT! I'M VERY PROUD!!
