CPNRE MAY /JUNE 2016 Exam results.

Hello fellow students,

did anyone received cpnre computer test results yet. ? anybody know the passing mark percentage yet. ? I did it on June 6 th and nervous about the results. add your comments if anyybody knows anything. thanks

Good point, I'm curious what the wait has been in past years.

I wonder if this being the first time done on computer has anything to do with it. I figured they would run into some trouble at some point during the process.

No. If computer was a problem other provinces would not received results yet too. But BC, SK, NS, etc. All got their results already. It is just CNO..

last Jan they got the result with in a month or so..

called CNO today and the lady said we have no choice but to wait. they gona wait one week frm 2nd July and if the strike is over then they will send the results as usual by canada post but if it extends then they will use alternative methods. so one week will b completed tommorow means on Friday 8th July. let's call them tomm and find out. this waiting game is killing everyone...wasn't that crazy exam enough tht this wait was due ???

Absolutely. They will not feel our pain unless we all call, email, and bug them.

The most frustrating part is that Canada Post isn't even on strike right now! (Or, to be fair to postal workers, Canada Post hasn't locked them out yet, they are not striking) I don't understand why the CNO didn't just mail the results when they became available. If something happened in the 3-5 days after they were mailed, they could then have emailed or come up with an alternative.

The fact that the CNO is waiting for another company to essentially dictate how they do business is absurd. And they will be our regulating body once licensed? Their poor decision making and lack of regard for our livelihood up to this point does not instill much confidence in me. I could have been applying for jobs already...

Canada Post has extended the lock out notice until Monday. Is the CNO now going to wait until then to make a decision?

I'd just like to point out that the person you're harassing on the phone or with emails has NO power to change anything, makes NO decisions, is being paid minimum wage to answer phones and direct calls and is caught in the middle between all of you and the people s/he works for. All s/he can tell you is what they've relayed and all s/he can do is log your call. Getting mad at CNO isn't going to get you anywhere. Oh, and LOTS of people have gotten jobs without their results so blaming CNO's tardiness for the lack of a job isn't really fair either.

Oh, well. Now, we have to think about "poor" CNO CSR? It is ridiculous. Why CNO not to think about her/him and invest in Email generation of sending results?

Why don't YOU ADVOCATE for us-nurses for CPNRE results to be sent by email like in many other provinces?

There is a proverb: "The one who is full does not know about the hungry one." You and CNO are just "full" people that cannot feel our pain..

And your comment saying "lots of people get jobs without exam results.." is arrogant and rude.

I was joking with my dad yesterday, he told me to write an angry letter to the CNO. I said Dad, it won't do anything, they don't care. The CNO/ASI has received hundreds of dollars from each of us, and there are already more nurses than jobs. They got their money from us, so they're good. Lol:D
