Anyone have any experience with the time limitation for completion of the EC program? I know not many would be dragging it out, but there are some who get delayed for whatever reason. If one is CPNE eligible and has submitted for a date, do they allow you to test if your drop dead date is reached? I know I will have to request an exception to policy for an extension and am anticipating the worst. Waiting until I absolutely have to, to call the school with my question (again, anticipating the worst). Any info would be appreciated.

Call now (well, tomorrow when they're actually there) ... don't put it off! The sooner you deal with it, the more time you have to plead your case. When is your expiration date?

Thanks for responding. My last exam is in Jan and my dd date is at the end of June. I would hope that anyone who has submitted their CPNE app and is waiting on a date, would be allowed to finish the process; like if you're in a store when they close, they allow you to go to the register. I have to approach my doctor to verify my medical problems as my justification. I haven't called yet because I know that in most instances people are very quick to provide negative answers via the phone. I hope my doctor doesn't say they won't help me. Doctors can be picky about what they will or won't do for a patient.
Anybody else have experience with this? Just trying to get an idea how good my chances are to be successful with my request. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that waiting doesn't count - unless you fail.
Call. They're pretty merciful, actually.
Thanks for the encouragement Sue.
I think they will also kinda slide you to the head of the line, as far as the CPNE wait ... I don't think you'll run out of time while waiting for your date!
