Hey All,

Calling all CPNE'rs. Does anyone have any critical elements or any kind of material left over from preparing for the CPNE. I think there is something that is called a "carjack" that is used to prepare for the CPNE that I would like to get my hands on. I am planning on heading over to EC and I want to get a look at exactly what the CPNE is about.

hey, i know that a lot of past testers have info they will email to you but the carjack is the huge studyguide that ec sends you when you are eligible to take the cpne. apparently it has lots and lots of info and people like to burn them when they are finished!!! one day we will too mona!!!

I've always wondered what exactly was in the carjack. It must be heavy duty if people are burning them.

Don't get your hands on a carjack (I can't believe that name actually stuck!!) just yet, as they do update them from time to time and you don't want to learn things now that will be considered outdated when you are taking your CPNE. For one thing, you'll get yours for FREE when you're eligible, and if you were to buy one now you'd spend big bucks. For some reason people sell theirs for big bucks to people who want to start working on their CPNE earlier than they have to. If you were to get one now, you'd be depriving yourself from 100% concentration on what needs to be focused on right now---- your NC courses. Think about the CPNE and read up on experiences and peoples' thoughts, but don't start studying just yet.

I know exactly how you are feeling though. I was so anxious to see just what the heck this CPNE thing was all about. I was dying to start preparing for mine! I had a hell of a time studying for my final 2 exams because I was already so into the CPNE material and I'm surprised that I passed them at all. So be careful. :)

I don't necessarily want to start studying for the cpne but I would like to know what is expected of me. I have this fear that it is just going to be too much to study and I will burn it before I even attempt to take the CPNE :)

As for buying ec materials, nah, that's not going to happen. There really are good sites with good information to use for free. Although, I would like to see the video that EC puts out for the cpne. I would imagine the video is pretty helpful.

Good---- I'm glad to hear that you don't plan on buying any pirated materials. And to be honest, I don't understand WHY people need to sell these things anyway. We are all in or have been in the same boat. Why can't people just help each other and GIVE things away that we got for free in the first place???? I think it's just nasty when people do things like sell their carjacks.

I do wish I still had mine though, just so you could take your peek at it. ;)

Mona- PM me your email addy, and I will send you my study materials. You can get a carjack from an academic advisor as soon as you finish NC7. Just as one as soon as you're done so you don't have to wait for it.
