Graduation is right around the corner and I am now looking for a nursing job. I am wrapping up my preceptorship on a surgical unit and I had an incredible preceptor. There is a job posting on that unit for a temporary part-time, a meet and greet with unit managers from various units, and I am looking for advice. I have never held a nursing job as I was helping my dad out with the family business during the summers or been to a nursing job interview.
What are things that I should include on my cover letter to make it stand out? What are some questions that I should expect at job interviews and how do you prepare for job interviews? Do you have any tips to share with a newbie?
I am new to this site (this is my first time posting) so if this topic has been brought up before, let me know and I will go searching for those topics!
Thank you for your help! I have heard great things about this website :).

Sift through some of the posts here and in the interview help section, as there are a TON of posts that will answer most of your questions.
Because you're a new nurse, of course you don't have RN experience. So what other jobs have you held? How can you relate those skills to nursing?
