Does anyone know how long the LPN- RN courses last for either of these two schools? In my area they are only a year but I have been told these colleges may be longer. Also does anyone know what the wait time may be to enter the program?? THANKS!!!!
hey wannagraduate-how are you on a wait list at cscc? There isn't one-I would make an appointment to see an advisor. After you complete all the prereq's-then you apply, you get in or you don't. There is no list just so you know-I applied to the nursing program last Jan. and start my clinicals next quarter-good luck to you!!
Regardless of the waiting list, there IS some kind of list. People who have applied previously and not gotten in have priority in the future when they apply until they do get in. Unless wannagraduate really thinks there is a waiting list.......then that sounds like a big uh oh.
What about the online program for people with bachelors degrees? Is there any wait with that or are applicants able to get in the first time?
But it only goes from summer to spring. Last year the January applicants filled both the fall and spring quarters, so they closed the July application period. Did they Fill the Fall of 2008 class already, too? When I recieved my packet they made it sound like all those that did not get into one of those sessions-Fall 06 or Spring 07 had to reapply to get into the Fall 08 class, I may have mistaken it but thats how I took it. Sassy-are you already in the program? If so how is it? I just meet a few people in a CPR class that will be with me but thats it till my orientation next week.
From what I heard (via cscc.edu) it's just backed up to the July application period. I could be wrong, though, like if the website hasn't been updated.
I'm not in the program yet. :-( Still have chem 113 and mult 126 to do on top of finishing my BA at OSU. That's why I'd looooooove to know how long it takes to get into the online program. I would apply this fall for fall '08 and that might get me there sooner than if I apply doing the traditional track.....ARG. I'm on a time limit too. I need to graduate no later than spring 2011 and that is scaring the crap out of me because I'm afraid it will not happen.
Here-I just found this info for anyone who has Q's about the online program email [email protected] I would just to see if there is any other way to get into the program. So you still have mult 126 and the NET to take? Why 2011 if you don't mind me asking?
Why 2011 if you don't mind me asking?
Just saw this, MONTHS later. Whoops! My boyfriend will be graduating from med school in 2011 and we'll have to move for his residency shortly after graduation. We'll be married by then. Actually, he might not get his MD and MHA and instead just his MD, so he would graduate in 2010! Then we would move within a month probably of graduation to lord knows where in the United States for his residency, so I need to be done with school! If I get in the online program to start fall '08 then I would be done when he's done, so hopefully that works out! Fingers crossed!
