COS Visalia Spring 2015

I applied to the COS traditional nursing program for Spring 2015. I am anxiously waiting to hear back even though they let us know we wont hear back til mid October. Is there anyone else out there who has also applied and is waiting to hear back?

They are using the point based system for admissions and I personally got around 65 points. I don't know where I stand at this point I am impatient to hear back! I got A's in Anatomy, Micro, and Physio and I passed the teas test with a 80%. On the other hand I don't have healthcare experience and did not get the points for attending COS either. So let me know your stats and we can impatiently wait together for the news!!!

I'm anxiously waiting as well!

My stats: 3 As 1 B in pre-reqs, 70% teas score, points in second language, points health care experience, points in special life event, AA degree, never attended COS.

Im so nervous, I still don't think what I have is enough :/ but I'll pray about it! Good luck to you OP and everyone else!!

Those sound like great stats Emtfuturenurse. Ya I feel the same way! I feel like I have a chance some days and the others I feel like I don't. Hopefully we hear back soon though!! Good luck and let us know when you get the news.

Hello ladies!

I also applied for the spring 2015 term! I am anxiously awaiting a response! My situations is exactly like emtfuturenurse. I hope we all receive good news pretty soon! We should find out around/on October 15, but do you guys know what the soonest is?

Well I seen a post from last year and some of them got they're letters as early as Oct. 6 so I'm hoping by next week!! But I'm checking my mail everyday just in case it comes earlier :yes:

Well I had applied for the fresno city college lottery but I didn't get chosen. Cos is my first choice though because it would be a way shorter commute. If I don't get in to cos then I'll probably go back to school next semester and reapply for the next application openings. I hope I don't have to go through that though!!! What were your back up schools??

I was told it would be a letter in the mail if you're accepted/not accepted in the month of October.

I too applied to the fresno city lottery and didn't get in :/...COS right now is my only shot, if I don't get In then I'll probably have to look Into SJVC.

I called COS today and they said letters will be sent out no later than October 15th. So hang on!!

This feels like the longest wait ever!! Oh thanks for letting us know about the letters Emtfuturenurse I was scared to call them myself. Let's pray for the best :up:!!!
