Hello, I just submitted my app for COS. I thought I'd start a thread for those applying to the spring 2018 program. I'm curious to know everyone's GPA/TEAS score/extra criteria/point total. Good luck everyone! The program will begin before we know it!
hi glamnurse, I got into 2018 spring RN in FCC , wanted to get your help in finding an accomadation.
Hello, Congrats! I got accepted as well. Well, for starters I would suggest Airbnb then maybe wait until the program starts as I'm sure there will be plenty of our fellow classmates who will also be in search. It's likely you'll find a few students who are looking for roommates. Things will fall into place! How far from FCC do you live? I'm about 25 min away.
Get a litmann select or other light weight set of ears, when u lug them around all day it sucks if u get a heavy set. Get a name rag for them or better yet a Tile tracker for it, cuz u will misplace it, get a light clipboard from Wal-Mart that I can stick papers in, the folding fancy one is ok but it dearrys paper work, get good pens that work, small little spiral note books for your pocket in clicals, your watch doesn't have to be white but everything else does. Take a small altoids tin or Listerine strips with u, cuz your breath will get rank. Get the tiniest light u can find, a small Ser of shears, take Tylenol with u along with cough drops and Sudafed, keep your badge in your car! U will forget it or loose it I promise. Take a granola bar, always carry a little cash. Carry hand sanitizer. Make sure u have a good printer and plenty of ink and paper. Read your ati books now, trust me on this. I'm at cos 2nd semester and it's kick in our butts

When the applications become available on the COS website, you can print one out and hand write everything in. That's what I did.
