Hello!
I thought I'd make this thread for those applying to Corona Regional New Grad Program (June 2025).
Let's keep each other updated!

I don't know I feel so bad because I posted it on here thinking this is an opportunity for us all to get our foot in the door and it just turned out to be wasted gas and time.
Yes I also heard that they are only getting 80 and already have 75 spots filled and need to fill 5 more

Don't feel bad! It's honestly the hospitals fault for posting that new grads could attend the event. Very unprofessional on their end for not double checking their announcement. I also went there this morning and wasted my time. I was also told that the new grad positions were filled already.
I graduated back in December and have applied so many places and still no hospital job, I have experience as a CNA and LVN & I'm currently working at the SNF I worked at as an LVN, but really wanting to go into hospital 😢 I don't know how these people are getting hired. I feel like I've tried everything. I'm to the point where I'm just going to suck it up and stay at my SNF job because it feels impossible to get hired at any hospital right now.
I drove back and ask questions because it did not sit well with me what happened. I talked to a nurse named Lauren and she confirmed the September cohort is closed. She explained that the new grads who came today and dropped off a resume will be put on list to be texted an application link in maybe January to hopefully start in March of next year if selected. She did explain that it is a bit of a long process for new grads to get hired.

This is very discouraging IDK why they put hiring new grads if that was the case

WOW... I just checked the portal too and not only is the applications still open but my status is still "under review.”
Very misleading and unfair to applicants who see the job post and submit an application right now thinking that it's still ongoing.
