I have been worked as a CNA for many years and am now in a BSN program, 1st semester. Since I have a full sleeve of tattoos and need to cover them for clinical, do y'all have any recommendations for long sleeve shirts that are cool and breathable? I get hot very easily but want to keep my tattoos covered because some patients might be uncomfortable around a heavily tattooed nurse.
I have a longsleeve American Apparel thermal, and it looks good but gets quite warm at times. I bought another perforated long sleeve from target that said it was designed to prevent sweating or something, and its somewhat better.
Any suggestions?

There are a few different manufacturers of tattoo cover sleeves, some specifically for healthcare workers (made to coordinate with scrubs). Tat2x and tat jacket are a couple.
Thanks I'll check that out!

Barco makes some great underscrub tees. I particularly love the Grey's Anatomy Meredith burnout tee. It features soil resistant fabric, 4 way stretch and has cuffs at the ends of each sleeve to keep the sleeve in place. It also comes in many great colors:)

The best is patagonia silkweight capilene, followed by champion g2. Patagucci is pricey, available online while champion is inexpensive & available at target.
