Cooks Children's Pediatric Nursing Residency July 2016

Hey!

I am starting a thread for the July 2016 Cohort at Cook Children's! Does anyone who has interviewed or been accepted for prior cohorts have any advice that can help with the interview or the whole process in general? Getting the job will mean the world to me and I really want to do well. Any advice is truly appreciated

I have not heard anything and I don't think they start until Friday so we could hear up until sometime next week I believe.

I received a call yesterday morning about an interview! I am out of state and will be participating in a Skype interview the week of March 6th. I applied for the critical care track.

Mine? 3.96 GPA, volunteer experience at hosptials including rotations in pediatrics, and current nurse assistant at a children's hospital.

My interview is March 8th. I applied for the critical care track. Has anyone heard about how to prep for these case study questions? I want to be as prepared as I can be!

I also have an interview on the 10th and I am wondering the same thing. I'm not sure if there is anyway to prepare. Good luck to you!

Does anyone know how many people they are interviewing and how many people they accept into the residency? I've heard around 15, but I am not sure if that means 15 per track or total.

Not sure! I am also curious if someone knows how many beds their Pediatric ICU is. I do not it listed on their website.

My interview is the 8th as well! I have read through tons of these threads about this program and no one will give any advice on the questions, unfortunately. I have no idea how to prepare!
