So, I will soon be graduating in May of this year (2013) with my BSN and have an opportunity to interview for the CCMC Pediatric Nurse Residency.
Does anyone who has interviewed for this program have any helpful hints/tips/suggestions for an interviewee? Expectations/preparation/comments/anything and everything?
I'm all ears for any general tips for an interview as well.
One can hope!! I had to call about my transcripts because my school had everything messed up... so hopefully I didn't like wart them kinda freaking out buhhh wish I had left it alone now lol
nope, i didn't hear anything today either, but @cass1320, i'm also hoping that no news is good news! at this point, they will probably just wait until friday - but honestly, this has been the longest week ever! and @armywife, i wouldn't worry! transcripts are an important part of the application process, so no one is going to fault you for making sure yours were in order. we've got this, team! just 48 more hours...hang in there! and thank you to everyone for keeping us updated. really appreciate it! keep those fingers (and toes) crossed...
I haven't heard anything either. I'm surprised your transcripts weren't in order because that was the first thing they called me about a week before my interview. =\
Hey y'all its armywife! I had to log on under a new screen ..... my computer booted me off and guess who cannot remember her password lol. I'm taking summer classes and some of the grades came in Monday . So I called Monday to see if they needed them and they didn't. Well I think they sent them anyways and so I called them today to give them the heads up that they might be getting them anyways. So that's why I was panicking about the calling! Lol make me feel better haha :)but yes fingers crossed
Oh! I don't blame you, I would have called too. :) I definitely had a dream about it today so I guess that is my body's way if saying I am thinking about it too much. Haha. I scheduled an extra clinical this week to keep my mind off of it.
Looking back on the interview, I'm wondering if I should have told them I already passed my boards. Do you think that would have been an important factor? or perhaps they looked it up? So nervous but happy that hopefully we're less than 48 hours away ladies!!
I'm not sure - my hope is that they will contact everyone because it would be nice to have a final answer, but I have no idea. I guess we'll find out, right? I can't believe tomorrow is Friday...finally! :)
