Cook Children's October 2019 Nurse Residency

Hello! I thought I would start a board for those applying for the 2019 October Nurse Residency Cohort at Cook Children's in Fort Worth,TX. I thought that this would be a great way to communicate with each other about how the process is moving along and answering any questions we might have. Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know if they randomly call people or if they call everyone from the same track on the same day?

Hey everyone! I actually went through the hiring process back last semester for the July track and then got hired on for the October track! When I went through the process, I got a call one day for an interview in critical care and one of my other friends got a call later that day or next day I believe! Don't be discouraged til you get an email saying you didn't get an interview! And even then wherever you go you will be great nurse wherever you go!

Does anyone know when she said she would send the email with the info about our interviews? I was excited when she called and I forgot when she said she was sending those out. Congrats again to everyone!

She told me I should receive an email by the end of the week. I don't think she gave me a specific date.

I just got an email confirming my interview date and time. It also has directions on where to park and go for the interview.
