Hi Everyone!

I am super excited to be interviewing for the 2016 February Cohort and wanted to know if there was anyone out there just as nervous/excited! I read all the different posts from previous cohorts and found it funny that there were not any posts for our cohort yet! I use this site all the time and just never registered, but here I am now :)

Overall I have learned that the interview is pretty challenging, at least it will be or me D-: I have never had a panel interview for a job before! Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!!

RAndaRoo Congrats on being done with the interview! I'm incredibly envious that you don't have it hanging over your head anymore. I have an interview for the critical care track tomorrow and I am shaking thinking about it. Was the case study just as terrifying as the rest of these allnurses posts make it out to be?

Lol for me it truly was. It's hard to think when you're on the spot. It sounds weird to say it would be easier if you were actually in that situation but I think it would be. It was like my mind just went blank, but of course after it was over I could suddenly remember everything else I should've said lol But if it's meant to be it will be! I say just be yourself and try your best because that's all we can do! lol You'll do great!!!;)

Awh that always happens, I'm sure I will be feeling like that tomorrow. I'm scared of the case study I just pray that I don't sound like a complete moron lol. Thanks for the luck I will definitely need it!

Yeah I honestly can't imagine anyone walking out feeling great after that interview!! Lol so hopefully we all did/do great and end up together! But y'all are both gonna do great! :cool:

Hi everyone! I also had my interview on Wednesday and was really nervous during the case study portion. Hopefully they take that into account though that we are all super nervous and good luck to everyone who has theirs today! :)

If I remember what I read on their website correctly I think we're supposed to hear back by next Friday.

Yeah, they told me we would hear back by next Friday definitely. I met a couple of current nurse residents while I was on the tour and they all said they received a call on Wednesday after interviews though, so could possibly be earlier than Friday.

That's also what I heard that the beginning of the week they give calls and towards the end they email those that didnt get it :(
