Hey everyone... I'm looking for tips or advice on getting a hold of someone at the TEXAS BON. I am trying to endorse in Texas and having trouble completing the necessary steps and can't verify if there is an error somewhere on my application. If anyone has a different number or experience going in person, I'd kindly take any and all suggestions. Thanks in Advance. Alma

I have the same problem to endorsement my license in Texas, and I'm already in Texas and I can't work as a Nurse until finish all the steps.
where in texas are you at? its frustrating when you don't get a feedback.. CA BON is better in replying at least u get answers. Thats the only step missing in my application. So right now I don't know if I will apply back in new york or wait for my texas license. It's really frustrates me right now. My temporary license will end at the end of this month.

When you filed for endorsement to TX, how long did it take for you to receive your temp TX license?

Quote Board Staff are aware of the current long wait times for phone and email responses. We apologize for this inconvenience. Transitioning to a new licensing system, current staff having to work remotely during a peak graduation season with testing and the background check delays has presented many challenges simultaneously. However, management is working to increase the number of staff available to assist. Currently, turnaround time for processing most applications is between 15 and 20 days. We are working diligently to decrease our processing times within the next month. If you require information that your Texas Nurse Portal account cannot provide, please send a detailed email to [email protected] We appreciate your patience during this trying time. https://www.BON.texas.gov/

I have sent several email to this, but never get any reply. I was wondering if my letter from cali was lost): they emailed me before to follow up my philippine verifications and they received it already.

For nurses living in Texas, contact your state representative as they help constituents resolve issues with state govenrment offices--let them know TX BON not responding to emails + unable to renew your license..

I just received my texas RN license today. But it was not updated in the Nursys.com website
Great to hear you received your license.. Nursys.com is separate from TX BON licensing system so TX files need to be imported into Nursys --don't know how often that occurs.

When I received my tx license it took about 24 hrs till nursys was updated.
