Consumed by the PAX

I was just wondering if anyone else felt completely consumed by preparing for and taking the PAX. I am scheduled to take it on May 13th and I feel like the last month (but especially the last week) have been consumed by preparing. It seems like if I am not studying I am thinking about studying. If not doing that then I am wondering whether I will pass and score high enough to get into the program. Can anyone share what the week or so before their exam was like. I feel crazy for stressing so much

All I can tell you, from what different school recruiters have told me, is that the PAX 1st time pass rate is around 75%, whereas the TEAS 1st time pass rate is only around 30%... I think we all get super stressed right before a test like this, but the main thing is to not over do it... You can't exhaust your brain and expect to do well. Just relax... Only be stressed if you're not honest with yourself and your study habits. Let us know how you do, I'm taking mine on the 13th as well :)

I will let you know how I do and you do the same...I am going to practice up some more this week and I am going to try not to study on Sunday so that I can refresh and relax a little anyway. Hopefully I do well as this is the only thing my school goes off of, they take the top 40 scores from this test and that will be who they accept.

Good luck!

I hope to do well. I'm so nervous I haven't been doing well on the practice tests! :(

I took the pax back in march and scored an 83% are you using the NLN pax study guide to study? That helped me a lot. I also used quizlet as well which helped too. I may have studied about an hour or two a day for pax. Good luck

I have studied the whole NLN book a lot!! I didn't know about quizlet so I am going to check it out and see if I can get anything else out of it!! 1-2 hours a day is really all I have been studying also but on the weekends I try to squeeze in some more! I am going to slow down on studying this weekend so that I can refresh some before Monday! Audrey we are going to do great...Think Positive!!

I PASSED!!! My composite score was 134 which is a 94%!! My school requires a 70% to be in the running so I am feeling very confident!!!
