Moved to the international forum as nothing to do with nursing in the Philippines.

As mentioned several times by several people in several threads, you do not need to use any agencies as things can easily be obtained from the CIC website. All forms are there that are necessary in regards to living and working in Canada. You also need to apply to the province college of RN's and all relevant forms and instructions can be found on the province college website

All an agency does is fill out applications that you can do yourself. They don't do anything special or speed up the process. As Silverdragon said, you can find the forms at the cic website and at the website for the college of nurses in the province you want to live in.You have to apply through both.

Thank you Silverdragon102 and loriangel14! So I realy don't have to spend much as the consultancy requires. I'll try to browse and study the website you've given. Thank you so much!!!

First get sorted with the college of RN in the province you plan on moving to. Be aware some provinces it is harder to find work especailly full time if requiring a Temp Work Permit (TWP) if going Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) route then all 1000 posts that have been allocated to nurses has been filled for this year and only way FSW application will be accepted is with a letter of employment.

at silverdragon102, it will be too hard for me to apply in Canada since I choose to move in Alberta. As I saw their page, the section of Family Stream is close until now and I don't know until when. My last option is to find a employer that will help to get a visa.

Have you got sorted with the province college of RN's? employers will more than likely want eligibility or pass of CRNE before a job offer is put forward. Also jobs may be hard to find in Alberta as they have been through the mill these last couple of years and if I remember rightly a high % of jobs have to be offered to local qualifying students first but I am sure someone from that part of the country will be more up to date in what is happening on the job front
