Hello. I am looking to apply to the CT State Community College - Capital Nursing program for the 2025-2026 semester! I have completed the required pre-req's for admission, and completing additional core but not required courses (Ex. A&P II) when the Fall semester opens next week. I'm likely going to apply to more than one selective admissions program to be sure I follow the destiny meant for me.
I'm wondering what everyone's stats are as we all are getting ready to apply to the selective admissions program. Mine are...
A&PI : A
TEAS: 79.3%
Nursing GPA: 3.7
Happy studying, and selective admissions application time fellow students!! I hope this thread proves to be as productive as others have in years past 🙂
I didn't receive a confirmation of acceptance LOL just a confirmation that I was an eligible applicant LOL. I think it was carefully worded to not be a confirmation of acceptance LOL

Honestly, not sure he is so sure about it LOL. I have always read in here in past posts it was April!

The nursing handbook indicates that we're supposed to be notified within the 2nd week of April for Capital... I hope it isn't May, that's just way too long. I e-mailed selective admissions to ask. I have heard that Capital's nursing program leadership would potentially be changing. So I REALLY hope there's no waiting until May that just too much.

Yes, but you get accepted for the fall. We had to put in our application between October 1 and February 1. You get approved, waitlisted or denied on April 7th. Clinicals don't officially start until January, but we still have to apply for the fall 2025 application. It's weird, because I originally thought that meant we started in the fall. Maybe they just need more time to figure out where clinicals are.

Please give an update when you hear back because I applied to Capital as well. Fingers crossed it isn't May...waiting for the 7th was already long enough😭
