Connecticut State Community College - Selective 2025/2026 Admissions

Hello. I am looking to apply to the CT State Community College - Capital Nursing program for the 2025-2026 semester! I have completed the required pre-req's for admission, and completing additional core but not required courses (Ex. A&P II) when the Fall semester opens next week. I'm likely going to apply to more than one selective admissions program to be sure I follow the destiny meant for me.

I'm wondering what everyone's stats are as we all are getting ready to apply to the selective admissions program. Mine are...

A&PI : A

TEAS: 79.3%

Nursing GPA: 3.7

Do we only find out their email, or will we find out through our application on selective ad admissions?

It should be both. Because when you're accepted into the program you have to manually go in and accept or decline your seat into the program.

My nursing application now says Fall "deferred" and I have a Spring 2026 application on file that says completed?! Someone explain please! I never asked for it to be deferred. Does this mean I got into Spring or I was waitlisted or someone deferred me 😩

woah where does it say deferred at?? like under the status section? since the Spring 2026 is completed and you didn't apply for that one I think so but lets just stay hopeful! is the Spring 2026 application even open?

It says deferred right where it used to say completed and now I have a Spring 2026  application that says completed

Where did you apply to? I think Northwestern starts before all other Community colleges in the state so if that's where you applied, that might be why. Did you email the selective admissions team yet? Usually they're fairly responsive
