Call the nursing secretary

Hi! Anyone that applied to northwestern, do you know how many people dropped for 2024? I'm on the waitlist for Spring 2026 and I am trying to see how great my chances are. I am #4.

Can someone please help me on the class schedules. I am going into nursing classes coming this fall and looking at the schedules to sign up it looks like there's 5 days a week for one class and two of them are all day Saturday and Sunday? Does anyone know if it's all those times listed for the one class or if you get to pick some out of what's listed?

Its either Monday class or Wednesday class. For Monday class: Tuesday and Wednesday clinicals or weekends(only mornings)

Wednesday class: Thursday and Friday clinicals or weekends.
they just have the days blocked because there is a possibility of weekends clinicals if requested.

So u have to pick which cohort(Monday class or Wednesday) is good for u with the clinicals days

I second this as a second semester student

How many hours is each clinical day for first semester nursing? Capitals schedule looks overwhelming while three rivers looks to be like 3 days ?

Its the same. One day class and two day of clinicals.

They will explain during orientation.

IDK about nw but my cohort some of my classmates were 70-80 waitlist and got in. Don't give up

You have 1 day lecture, then 2 days clinical. You can request hours - not guaranteed though

Depends which campus - I'm a first year nursing student at Norwalk. We have class 8 am - 10:30 am Monday & Tuesday. Everyone has one clinical day which can be Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Exact start and end time will vary some based on the instructor but it can be as early as 6:30 am and as late at 6:30 pm.

Oh okay. Someone told me that when it says say 7-3 that it was like 4 hours within that not the whole 8 but I wasn't sure    It also sounds like the class is always 9:30-3:30 mondays and the labs start 7am-11am Tuesday and Wednesday then change to longer hours possibly for the clinical on Tuesday and Wednesday
