Connecticut Community Colleges - Applying for 2014

I've read through last year's version of this thread 100 times, so I thought I'd start a new one. I'm planning to apply for NCC's 2014 program. I'm taking A&P I right now (A- midterm grade, hoping to make that an A!) and will need to do the software applications class online in the winter session, so I won't be able to submit my app until final grades are out for that. Hopefully I won't be cutting it too close to the Feb 1st deadline! I'm taking my TEAS on November 18th.

Who else is applying? Where are you in the application process? Post your TEAS scores and GPA stats if you know them! My nursing GPA will be almost a 3.8 with an A- in A&P and an A in CSA105, but I dropped out two semesters in a row in 2006 (one semester medically excused but still on my transcript, the other no excuse, just screwed up being 19 and not very serious about my education at that time) I hope those hiccups won't count against me too much, luckily none of the classes I was taking at the time applied to the nursing program.

What did it say? Cause I bought my books already, I just put a call into them inquiring why I'm not receiving emails sent. Getting frustrated!!!

It's a list of books. But it seems different than the ones online.

Did you guys get the uniform?

I got a large because I'm a size 14 and it's sooooo baggy :( the medium top would pass on my shoulder

I can't stand the uniform!! However, excited to were it! ;) But yes I got one set so far, I got a medium shirt ( the Landau 8219) and the one pair of pants the 8512 style # , the pants are to big for me because I'm so short!! The shirt is fitted very strange tight thru the top and very boxy looking at the bottom.

I knooow. .. I wish we could pick the style of the shirt.... mine doest have a waist line, you know... make me look 3x my size lol

I haven't gotten my books or my uniform yet, clearly I am slacking! :laugh:

I'm thinking about starting a Facebook group for the NCC program but I don't see any for previous classes and I don't want to get in trouble if it's not something we're supposed to do.
