I wanted to ask anyone who has taken the HESI more than once about the test(s). How many different tests are there? are the questions pulled randomly? Are any of the same questions from the 1st test on the second? I'm not asking specifics, just if some of them are the same..... thanks

I took the Hesi 3 times ( I got a 7 the first and second time, but wanted a 10). I took them all about 2 weeks apart. My nursing school told me that the Hesi is only changed once a year. I had the same test every time, same order of questions and everything. Hope this helps!

Thanks, boy I ht would be sweet to get the same test!

For my schools exit exam I had to take the HESI twice and I had a different test the second time. One of my friends had to take it 4 times and she told me it was different each time.

Is HESI an entrance exam into nursing school?

What exactly is it?

I had to take the HESI exit exam 3x; each time it was a different disk; different questions.

Hi..at our school we take the Hesi at the end of each course to see if the content was mastered. Each one builds upon the other..fundamentals was fundamentals, ob and med-surg all classes taken on them so far...etc...they were taken on computer but each time the test was different...there also is an exit hesi that covers all of the material...there is a minimum we have to make on each one ...all but the exit hesi count as 5% of our grade...the exit hesi has to be passed by a score of 950 or better to graduate and sit for the nclex...study saunders and do practice nclex style questions and read rationales and you should do fine...hope this helps

The HESI test is so named because it is a test developed by Health Education Systems Inc. (HESI for short). They actually put out a number of tests including an entrance and exit exam and ones that go along with just about any nursing book and the class that would go with it. They also make custom exams at the request of schools.

I know there are a number of different versions of the exit exam but I am not sure if that is true about the other exams they put out.
