Hello, is anyone planning on applying for Concordia's ABSN summer '13 program? Applications are due in just a few weeks! I am working on getting everything in my application ready to go and turned in as soon as possible.
The program so far has been intense. First semester is jam packed and you are fighting to find time to do everything. Our little motto (thanks doulajess) was "surviving is thriving" without rambling on, the workload will push you to your limits. The professors are willing to help and will make time to help. At times they contact you before you contact them if you are struggling. As far as the overall experience it boils down to the people I am with on this journey. The members of my cohort have become my school family. They are people I rely on and count on to make it through. I had some rough days and it was the good friends I made in my cohort that helped get me through. I would suggest doing the same with yours. You will lean on eachother and need eachother when you need a boost. I love my wife and child and they are the reason I fight everyday for this goal, but it's these people in the trenches that make it bearable. See, I knew I would ramble.
I appreciate you taking the time to share with us!
