Concordia University Irvine ABSN Fall 2014

Hi everybody. I didn't see a thread for the ABSN program for Fall 2014 at Concordia University Irvine so I made one. I sent in my application last week. Is anyone else applying for this program? What are the chances of getting in?

I haven't heard anything back about interviews either! Last year students heard back on June 28th about interviews, but in our email confirming our app is complete it said we would be notified around the second week of July.

So I just picked up the phone and decided to call them. Henny answered saying we would probably here back beginning of next week. I have a slight glimmer of hope that if it is not by this week Thursday, it would definitely be next week. So guys let's hang in there. Drum Roll please...let's see who made the cut (I hope I did myself lol)

Has any of you done a research about how easy or difficult is to get loans for the ABSN? I imagine that since we have bachelors financial aide might not be available.

I'm thinking that since it is still a Bachelor's degree it shouldn't be too hard to get financial aid. I know that it is harder when getting a Master' but this is a Bachelor's...but don't quote me on that. That's just what I was thinking.

You will get exactly 12,500 for one academic year then 7,000 fit the remaining semester. That's only if you are independent, if dependent student it's less. The remaining money you either have to take out personal loans which a pretty easy to get or it comes out if pocket
