Hey y'all,
I'm applying to the Concordia Texas ABSN program for Fall 2019. Trying to see if anyone else is trying to do so too. Please share stats! If you are a current student, please share your experiences as well!

just applied recently ...I have been in touch with the admission or program counselor at the moment. They do have my transcripts and did an overview of program to me over phone call. Have you applied yet ?

I'm pretty much waiting to hit send for my Nursing Supplemental form. Waiting to get all my references in and tweaking my personal statement! Otherwise, I'll be submitting my application before the month ends.

I'm a December '18 graduate of the Concordia ABSN program..we were the first cohort to go through the program so I think they worked out all of the kinks with our group. It was a little rough at times to say the least..Haha.....It's fast and furious for sure but I do think that they gave us a good foundation to be safe and competent nurses. The professors are pretty supportive and generally want you to succeed. Just don't get behind at all....there are little to no breaks in the 16 months of the program so if you get behind it's super hard to catch up. Best of luck!

Thank you so much for that. Honestly, the intensity of the program is something that I knew I needed to consider because of how long the program is, and I'm glad to get input from someone who's already been through it!

Hi! I'm hoping to start the ABSN program in August. If anyone is interested in being roommates, message me!
I've been accepted for the Fall 2019 cohort! I have to finish the Concordia pre-requisites during the summer as well.

I just found out I didn't get into my 1st choice school. Just wondering how long it took for your transcripts to get delivered? I'm thinking of applying because it looks like such a great school!

I am considering looking for a roommate as well! Living in Austin can be a bit pricey. My advisor says she recommends her students to live near downtown or between downtown and North Austin because pretty much all our classes will be in downtown Austin!
