Hi everyone!
I was also just invited for an interview next week!!! Concordia is my first choice as its close to home and is based on Christian values(not to mention a beautiful campus). In response to "dche3" my GPA is just under 3.7 and I have no classes currently in progress. I do not have strait A's for my sciences, but my transcripts show I have been successful in taking up to 22 units in a semester and keeping an above average GPA... from what I hear they like to see prior success with impacted semesters you may have had. Also I hear they do a group interview, with professors rotating to each group. Does anyone know if this is true? Congratulations to ALL that were invited for an interview, and for those of you who didn't do not get discouraged.. I was going for an ASN a few years ago and was denied by MANY MANY schools (heartbreaking ). Its a long stressful path but will be well worth it in the end; so stay strong!!!
Hi Love of Nursing,Congrats on the interview. I think the Summer cohort started the FB page once they got accepted. But I'm all for it if we all get in

That seems like the best idea to wait. Just amazing how the internet helps us in so many ways - even through this venue!
I have an O Chem (after already taking inorganic chem) class I am taking for summer school - my very last prereq! Unfortunately I have to miss my class as well, I hope the instructor will understand, then I have a LONG 6 hour drive from the Bay Area to get there after my Weds Class for the interview. Phew!
May 2011, this past month from Arizona State University. I started off as a nursing major but didn't get accepted into their program, so i switched my major to graduate in four years and now I'm still pursuing nursing.

What did you switch your major to? And on that note, just for fun......what did everyone get their first Bachelor's degree in? Mine was in Foreign Language Spanish with an emphasis in Linguistics.....:grad:
Hey guys!
I also received an email invitation to Thursday's 6/23 interview last week. If anybody knows the answer to some of these quick technical questions, please let me know! What's the format of the interview? According to CUI's website, it seems like a "group" interview, but does this mean all the interviewees are being interviewed together in the same room? Seems less personal. :/ Also, they ask you to bring a "passport-sized color picture" (with our name on the back) that's exactly 2x2? Are we just supposed to print out a 2x2 picture of our face if we don't have a passport? Never heard of this before. Hope to hear from someone soon! Thank you!!

Where are you taking class? Most of my friends started summer school this past Monday. I'm not taking summer school. Is your class a pre-req for nursing? If it is, hopefully your teacher will give you a break and understand that you're applying for nursing school.
